My loc inspiration began with my cousin who’s done my hair since I was in middle school. It developed more through a couple of my other cousins who have had them for many years. After years of saying, one day I might get locs, turned into a completely clear and decisive decision to begin my loc journey in September of 2020. I’ll share more details, photos and inspirations here.
Choosing this hairstyle is an extension of my way of life and embracing every part of me. Organic, pure and being minimalistic in what I use on my body and put inside it was an effortless next step to “returning back” to the love within.
